RECENT RECIPES

Zucchini Fries
A healthy alternative until you taste the fried goodness of the crispy coating.

Butterfish Nitsuke
This dish is fast, easy, and tasty. Starting with the recipe for “Sakana no Nitsuke” [Itadakimasu - Women of Nu`uanu Centennial Cookbook] as a starting point, the only change we made is a light dusting of flour, and pan frying the fish part way, before adding the sauce.

Beef and Asparagus Cake Noodle
Cake noodle and asparagus make a delicious combination. Add beef and you got a meal.

Gon Lo Mein
This Gon Lo Mein is made from a recipe provided by HECO – varied slightly by what was in the fridge.

Corned Beef Hash Patties
Simple. Quick. Home Cooking.

Gay's Easy Potluck Chicken
Good for potluck parties where quantity is needed.

Haken's Shoyu Chicken
My version of this local favorite.

Chicken or Pork Adobo
An island plate lunch favorite.
